Single or two-stage machine polishing — removes swirls, hazing, oxidation and light defects. Brings depth and gloss back to factory finish or better. Ceramic upgrade locks it in.

I'm Iestyn.
Sole operator of CVL Detailing.
It all started when I bought my first car — a 2005 Silver Corsa SXI. Already old by the time I got it, but I wanted it to look the best it possibly could. That sent me down the detailing rabbit hole — products, best practices, how to make an old banger relive its glory days.
Cars came and went and I learned to love the work more and more. Friends and family started asking me to detail theirs. By late 2020 I'd decided I was going to make a career out of this thing I'd fallen in love with — and, I must say I'm pretty damn good at it too.
Five years on, I'm Gtechniq accredited for their 3-5 year ceramic systems, and I run on the products I'd never not use on my own car — AutoFinesse, AutoGlym, Menzerna. No 'hand car wash's' happening here. Just careful work, real protection, and a happy client at the end of the day.

What's the difference between a valet and a detail?
A clean or a valet is about making sure all surfaces are, well, clean
— not so much about embedded dirt, swirl marks, or fading paint.
Detailing delves much deeper, restoring the look and feel of a new
car without buying a new car. The attention to detail is what
defines you as a 'detailer' — fully covering every detail of
a car.
Do you publish prices?
No — every car and every condition is different. Tyre size,
paint state, what protection you want, whether interior is part of
the scope — all of it factors in. Tell me the car and what
you're after, and I'll quote properly. No mystery fees.
What do I need to provide?
I bring all my own tools, equipment and supplies — you just
need an outside water tap and somewhere I can plug an extension
cable in. A driveway, carport or off-street spot works.
How quickly can you book me in?
I'm the sole operator, so the calendar does fill up — especially
for the two-stage and Gtechniq work which takes multiple days. I'll
always do my best to get you in as soon as possible. Get in touch
and I'll be straight with you on timing.
Do you offer ceramic coatings?
Yes — I'm Gtechniq accredited for their 3-5 year ceramic
systems. Available as an upgrade on the single or two-stage
machine polish tiers. Real protection, not a wax that washes off in
a month.
Which products do you use?
A few brands you'll see in my arsenal: Gtechniq,
AutoFinesse, AutoGlym, and
Menzerna — plus more. I wouldn't use poor
quality products on my own car, so there's no chance I'd use them
on yours.
